REACH testing and certification applies to all cleaning products produced, imported or sold in the EU. These products must meet the requirements of REACH regulations, including registration, evaluation, authorization and restrictions.
1. REACH testing and certification requirements
1. Registration: Chemical substances whose annual production or import volume exceeds 1 ton need to be registered. Non-EU manufacturers need to submit registration to the EU through an EU only representative (OR).
2. Evaluation: including archival evaluation and material evaluation. The file assessment verifies the completeness and consistency of the registration dossier submitted by the enterprise, and the substance assessment confirms the risk of chemical substances harming human health and the environment.
3. Authorization: Authorize the production and import of chemical substances that have certain hazardous characteristics and attract people's great attention.
4. Restriction: If it is considered that the manufacturing, placing on the market or use of a certain substance or its mixture or article results in risks to human health and the environment that cannot be adequately controlled, its production or import in the EU will be restricted.
2. REACH testing and certification process
1. Fill out the application form and provide product information.
2. The engineer determines the test standards, test time and corresponding costs based on the information provided.
3. After the applicant confirms the quotation, sign the application form and service agreement, make payment, and prepare samples.
4. The laboratory tests the applied products according to relevant EU testing standards.
5. The test is passed and the report is completed.
6. After the project is completed, a REACH test report will be issued.
