What is CPC certification

CPC certification requirements

The CPC certificate must be based on the test results of a third-party testing laboratory accredited by CPSC; (Dezeway is authorized by CPSC)

The CPC certificate is issued by the seller, and the third-party laboratory can provide assistance in drafting the CPC certificate;

Children's products must comply with all relevant safety rules and regulations.

CPC certificate contains information

Product identification information covered by this certificate;

CPSC Children's Product Safety Regulations referenced by certified products;

Company information of the US importer or manufacturer that requires certification;

Contact information for test data maintainers;

The production date and production address of the product need to be detailed to the city;

Date and location of CPS compliance testing (information from third-party testing agencies);

A cpsa-approved third-party laboratory for compliance testing required for certification.

CPC test type

Initial test: product test;

Material change test: if the material is changed, it needs to be re-tested;

Periodic testing: In addition to material change testing, if continuous production, any material changes must be tested periodically for at least one year.

Component testing: The finished product is generally tested, and in some special cases, all components are tested to demonstrate the compliance of the final product.

The CPC certificate can only be tested by a third-party testing laboratory accredited by CPSA, and the certificate is issued based on the test report.
