This series of standards covers basic safety requirements for food contact materials and products, including containers, packaging, tools, equipment, etc. made of plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, rubber, paper and cardboard. The purpose of the GB4806 standard is to ensure that food contact materials and products will not affect food safety during production, processing, storage and transportation.
The process for pots and pans to undergo GB4806 testing in China is as follows:
1. Product sample preparation: The applicant needs to provide pot product samples to the testing agency. The number of samples can be determined according to the requirements of the testing agency.
2. Sample packaging: To ensure the integrity of the sample, the applicant should seal the sample in a standard transparent plastic bag or packaging box, and attach product instructions, instructions for use, production date and other materials.
