1、 Introduction to RoHS Directive
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), also known as the Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, is an environmental access requirement for electronic and electrical products in the European Union. The current implementation is RoHS 2.0 (2011/65/EU), which requires electronic and electrical equipment sold in the EU market to comply with hazardous substance restriction standards.

3、 Key testing points for electronic game consoles
As electronic and electrical products, electronic game consoles usually need to pay attention to the following testing points:
Plastic parts of the shell: testing for excessive levels of polybrominated biphenyls/polybrominated diphenyl ethers
Solder material: check whether the lead content meets the standard
Electronic components: harmful substance content in PCB boards, capacitors, resistors, and other components
Display screen components: Some display screen materials may involve cadmium or hexavalent chromium issues

5、 Precautions
The validity period of the report is usually 1 year, and it is recommended to conduct annual renewal testing
