Which category of msds does not belong to dangerous goods? There are 9 categories of dangerous goods, and the rest are not dangerous goods. MSDS is a comprehensive legal document on the characteristics of chemicals provided by chemical production or sales enterprises to customers according to legal requirements. It provides 16 items, including physical and chemical parameters of chemicals, flammability and explosion properties, health hazards, safe use and storage, leakage disposal, first aid measures, and relevant laws and regulations.
1、 Classification of hazardous materials in MSDS report/SDS report
Although national regulations on the classification of hazardous materials vary, they are generally classified into the following 9 categories according to international regulations:
Category 1: Explosives;
Category 2: Compressed and liquefied gases - 2.1 flammable gases, 2.2 non flammable gases, 2.3 toxic gases;
Category 3: Flammable liquids;
Category 4: Flammable solids, natural substances, and flammable substances in contact with moisture - 4.1 Flammable solids, 4.2 Easily natural substances, and 4.3 Substances that release flammable gases in contact with water;
Category 5: Oxidants and organic peroxides - 5.1 Oxidizing substances, 5.2 Organic or oxides;
Category 6: Toxic and Infectious Substances - 6.1 Toxic Substances, 6.2 Infectious Substances;
Category 7: Radioactive materials;
Category 8: Corrosive products;
Category 9: Miscellaneous and marine pollutants.
2、 MSDS Basic Process
1. Fill in the MSDS application form
2. After receiving the application form, the relevant personnel will contact the customer by phone and issue a payment notice. The customer must return the bank voucher and arrange for MSDS preparation upon receipt of the memo
3. After completing the MSDS, the relevant laboratory personnel will first fax the report to your company, and then handle it according to the report collection method selected by the customer on the application form
