Amazon Children's Product CPC Certification

1、 What is CPC certification

CPC certification is a child product safety certificate applicable to all products targeting children aged 12 and under. Amazon requires that all children's toys and children's products must provide a child product CPC certificate.

2、 Information to be included in the CPC certificate

1. Product information (name and description);

2. All applicable regulations and regulations for the product;

3. Manufacturer information: including name, address, and telephone number;

4. The production date and address of the product must be in the month and year, and the address must be in the city;

5. Detection time and address

6. Information of third-party testing institutions (laboratories recognized by CPSC): name, address, contact phone number;


3、 Information to be included in the CPC certificate required for the normal export of children's products to the United States

1. Product information (name and description);

2. All applicable regulations and regulations for the product;

3. Information about the importer or manufacturer (in the United States): including name, address, and telephone number;

4. Contact information of the holder of the test results file supporting the certificate: name, address, email address, and phone number;

5. The production date and address of the product must be in the month and year, and the address must be in the city;

6. Test report based on the test time and address or certificate;

7. Information of third-party testing institutions (laboratories recognized by CPSC): name, address, contact number


4、 Who needs to issue a CPC certificate

The manufacturer or importer is responsible for drafting and issuing the CPC. The manufacturer or importer can draft a CPC based on the passing test results of a third-party test at no cost.

Importers must issue a CPC for products produced overseas, while American manufacturers must issue a CPC for domestic products. See 16 CFR Part 1110.

The manufacturer or importer of children's products that comply with children's product safety rules or other standards is always legally responsible for issuing a CPC, even if a third-party testing laboratory, DeZewei, or another third party provides assistance in drafting the CPC

7. Child care products: product standards for strollers, cribs, fences, braces, safety seats, bicycle helmets, etc
