Cake Mold French DGCCRF Test Report Processing Procedure
I. Product Positioning
Cake molds are food contact materials and must comply with DGCCRF regulations to be sold in the French market. France uses a positive list system, which only allows the use of legally approved raw materials.
II. Core Testing Items
| Testing Items | Focus Areas
| Heavy Metal Migration | Migration amounts of lead, cadmium, chromium, nickel, etc.
| Organic Matter Migration | Plasticizers, residual monomers, etc.
| Sensory Testing | Color, aroma, and taste of food after migration
| Material-Specific Testing | Requirements vary for different materials such as silicone, metal, and ceramic.
III. Processing Procedure
1. Determine Material Type: Clarify whether it is silicone, metal, ceramic, or other materials.
2. Prepare Documents: Provide product ingredient list, manufacturing process, and intended use.
3. Submit Samples: Provide representative samples (usually 2-3).
4. Laboratory Testing: Testing is conducted according to French food contact material regulations.
5. Report Issuance: Upon successful testing, a test report and declaration of conformity will be issued (DEZEW Testing CNAS Registration No.: L8083).
IV. Timeframe and Fee Reference
| Item | Reference Scope
| Testing Timeframe | 5-7 working days
| Fee | Approximately 1000-2000 RMB (depending on material and testing items)
V. Precautions
Different materials have different requirements: silicone molds, metal molds, and ceramic molds each have specific regulatory requirements.
Composite products are more complex: multi-layered materials require separate evaluation of each layer.
It is recommended to simultaneously apply for EU 10/2011: EU regulations and French regulations often need to be met simultaneously.
