TPD detection and certification of electronic cigarettes. As a substitute for cigarettes, electronic cigarettes have gradually been recognized by the market, especially in the European and American markets. However, the export to European and American markets has relatively strict standards, so it is very important to carry out the relevant detection of electronic cigarettes, such as smoke test, oil composition analysis and other kinds of detection reports.
1、 What is the Tobacco Products Directive
The Tobacco Product Directive (TPD) is a regulation used to regulate and supervise the manufacturing, sales, display (product design, packaging, etc.) of products and all tobacco and tobacco-related products (such as electronic cigarette products). At present, in most EU member states, electronic cigarettes are regulated and managed according to entertainment consumer products. From 2016, electronic cigarettes and related products will be subject to the regulation of Article 20 of the TPD. The Tobacco Product Directive (TPD) is ostensibly designated for the smooth operation of tobacco products in the international market. In fact, many provisions of the TPD are set to reduce the attractiveness of tobacco products and achieve a higher standard of protection for human health.
Warm reminder, electronic cigarette products exported to the EU should not only undergo TPD testing, TPD testing and TPD certification, but also need to log in to the website to complete TPD registration and certification.
