The latest EU RoHS standard, the RoHS Directive, is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation, and is the "Directive on Restricting the Use of Certain Hazardous Ingredients in Electronic and Electrical Equipment." The national RoHs certification is required by the National Administration of Market Supervision and Administration and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to issue the "Management Catalogue for Restriction and Compliance of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products" in 2019.
1、 EU ROHS2.0 standard
The European Union ROHS 2.0 standard is a mandatory standard formulated by European Union legislation. Its full name is also known as the "Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Components in Electronic and Electrical Equipment", abbreviated as the ROHS Directive. After the issuance of the Directive, EU member states need to convert it into national regulations and implement it before December 31, 2016. "From July 22, 2019, all electronic and electrical products (excluding medical and monitoring equipment) exported to Europe must meet this restriction. From July 22, 2021, medical equipment (including in vitro medical equipment) and monitoring equipment (including industrial monitoring equipment) will also be included in this control scope.". In addition, toy products that originally belonged to Article 51 of Annex XVII of REACH and were controlled by benzene will not be subject to the control of DEHP, BBP, and DBP in this Directive. The EU RoHS Directive has been implemented for many years, and a large proportion of China's export enterprises have also accumulated experience in responding to the EU RoHS.

As of now, there are ten mandatory controlled substances in Annex II. See the following table for details:

Mercury (Hg) 0.1%
Cadmium (Cd) 0.01%
Hexavalent chromium (Cr VI) 0.1%
