Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Amazon CPC High Chair in the United States
Range
1.1 This consumer safety specification covers performance requirements and testing methods to ensure satisfactory performance of high chairs and high chairs made from high chair conversion kits and components using other products.
1.2 This consumer safety regulation aims to minimize the harm caused to children by normal use and reasonably foreseeable misuse or abuse of high chairs.
Note 1: This consumer safety regulation is not intended to address accidents and injuries caused by interaction between older children and children sitting in high chairs, or accidents caused by abuse and misuse by people over three years old.
1.3 High chairs or high chair conversion kits produced after the approval date of this consumer safety regulation shall not be labeled or otherwise indicated as complying with this regulation, unless it meets all the requirements contained herein.
1.4 Values expressed in inch pound units are considered standard values. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions of SI units and are for reference only and not considered standard.
