The Cook County Committee has approved a ban on the sale of flavored tobacco products in the suburbs of Cook County. Cook County is the largest county in Illinois, with 134 municipalities within its jurisdiction, of which Chicago is the most famous.
According to Audacy, after a unanimous vote, the sales ban on flavored tobacco products applies to all vaping cartridges, including mint flavored ones.
According to the law, it is reported that any of the 42 licensed tobacco retailers in unincorporated Cook may face a fine of $250 when first discovered selling flavored e-cigarettes.
