Legislators in Louisiana are moving towards banning the sale of flavored Electronic cigarette and other Electronic cigarette products.

House Bill 179 will prohibit the sale of all flavored nicotine products except tobacco.


The bill is currently awaiting final approval by the state Senate and may be held today.


If the bill is passed and signed into law by the governor, the ban on flavored Electronic cigarette will take effect on October 1, 2023.
