3. Precise Laboratory Testing → Quantitative analysis using instruments such as ICP-OES and GC-MS
4. Report Issuance → Includes test results, compliance determination, and SVHC declaration.
IV. Processing Recommendations
Selection of Institution: Choose a third-party laboratory with CNAS/CMA accreditation and EU recognition (e.g., Dezeway Testing CNAS registration number: L8083).
Timeframe: Routine testing takes approximately 5-7 working days; expedited processing can be shortened to 3 days.
Validity: Reports are generally valid for 1-2 years; reassessment is required during this period if the SVHC list is updated.
Cost Control: Similar materials can be submitted for testing together; properly splitting components can reduce testing costs.
V. Compliance Key Points Reminder
Special Note:
If the SVHC content in a product exceeds 0.1% (w/w), it is necessary to notify ECHA and relay the information to downstream suppliers.
Solder, connector coatings, and electroplating layers are high-risk components for REACH testing of electronic components.
