The full name of the FCC certification in the United States is the Federal Communications Commission, which was established by COMMUNICATION ACT in 1934 as an independent agency of the United States government and is directly responsible to the Congress. FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by controlling radio, television, telecommunications, satellites and cables. It involves more than 50 states in the United States, Colombia and the United States to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property. The FCC certification in the United States is divided into three types: FCC ID certification, FCC DOC certification and FCC VOC certification.
FCC certification process
Declaration of conformity The responsible party (manufacturer or importer) of the product will test the product at the qualified testing agency designated by the FCC and make the test report. If the product meets the FCC standard, it will affix the corresponding label on the product, declare the relevant compliance with the FCC standard in the user's manual, and keep the test report for the request of the FCC.
Apply for an FRN to fill in other forms. If the applicant applies for FCC ID for the first time, it needs to apply for a permanent Grante Code. While waiting for the approval of the FCC to distribute the Grante Code to the applicant, the applicant should seize the time to test the equipment. When all materials required to be submitted by the FCC are ready and the test report has been completed, the FCC should have approved the Grantee Code. The applicant completes FCC Form 731 and Form 159 online with this code, test report and required materials. After receiving Form 159 and remittance, the FCC begins to accept the application for certification. The average time for FCC to accept ID applications is 60 days. At the end of acceptance, FCC will send the original grant of FCC ID to the applicant. After obtaining the certificate, the applicant can sell or export the corresponding products.
FCC ID application process:
1. First, apply for a FRN. If the applicant applies for FCC ID for the first time, it needs to apply for a permanent Grante Code; For the first application of ID, the application fee for Grante Code is 60USD

6. Precautions: 4.1 For receivers with transmission frequency of 30-960MHz, a FCC DOC must be prepared; 4.2 The receiver is equipped with a USB port. When this port is used for data transmission, an additional FCC DOC must be added;
