The United States is a country with strict requirements, especially for the control of children's products. The United States CPSC certification is an important consumer protection agency in the United States, namely the Consumer Product Safety Committee. CPC certificate is children's product safety certificate. The United States requires manufacturers and importers to be based on the qualified test report issued by the laboratory recognized by CPSC. CPC certification is applicable to all products with children aged 12 and under as the main target, such as toys, cradles, children's clothing, etc.

In addition to the regulatory tests required by CPC, relevant products sold to the United States for children under 12 years of age must also meet the requirements of TrackingLabel. The purpose of this action is to ensure that consumers can trace the responsible party to deal with the relevant compliance issues in case of product problems. Therefore, the packaging and products must have traceability labels (except those exempted). If it is a durable product for infants and young children, it must also meet the relevant requirements of the Product Registration Card.

Infant/child clothing accessories and footwear regulations require passing the CPC certification test standard, and the CPC certification test items include:

Lead content detection (CPSC-CH-E1003-09, CPSC-CH-E1002-08)

Phthalate (CPSC-CH-E1001-09.3)

Flammability regulations (16CFR1610,16CFR1611,16CFR1615/1616, etc.) Small parts

Sharp point&sharp edge test (16CFR1501,16CFR1500.48&49)

Note: The test report must be issued by a laboratory recognized by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, confirming that each product has passed the test and conforms to the above regulations/standards, including the following pictures of the tested product: packaging, compliance sign, warning label and age classification (if applicable). The product image on the test report and the product image on the detail page must display the same product.

Standard process of CPC certification test for children's clothing and shoes:

1. Consult product standards and provide product pictures;

2. Send samples and fill in the application form;

3. The seals of both parties to the contract;

4. Draft draft report and customer confirmation information;

5. Issue the official report;

6. The cycle is 5-7 working days.
