What materials need to be prepared for Japan's PSE certification?
1、 Introduction to Japan's PSE certification:
The PSE symbol is the Japanese product safety symbol
The DENTORL Law of Japan stipulates that 498 products entering the Japanese market must pass safety certification. Among them, 112 A-class products should obtain Linghang certification, and 340 B-class products should obtain Yuanhang certification.
Class A: Designated electrical equipment and material products
For example: AC adapter plugs multi tap
Class B: Other electrical equipment and material products
For example: Copier TV DVD Player
Products that are not suitable for electrical safety methods:
PC, Monitor, Printer, Server Computer, Storage
Class A products: must obtain a "Compliance Certificate" CoC issued by a compliance assessment agency authorized by the Japanese government
Class B products: No CoC is required, but they must meet the technical requirements stipulated by laws and regulations. The manufacturer can make self declaration/confirmation.
Technical information: The voltage in Japan is AC 100V/50Hz, 100V/60Hz
PSE will conduct a factory inspection (to check for relevant testing instruments and their suitability), but there will be no follow-up inspection. Due to the different partners of various certification agencies in China, the institutions responsible for auditing factories in China are different.
