Children's clothing refers to clothing suitable for children. According to age, it includes baby clothing, children's clothing, children's clothing, middle-aged children's clothing, and older children's clothing. CPC certification is the children's product certificate (CPC), which is mainly for children under 12 years old, such as toys, cradles, children's clothing, etc. Those produced in the United States shall be provided by the manufacturer, while those produced in other countries shall be provided by the importer. In other words, cross-border sellers, as "importers", who want to sell products produced by Chinese factories to the United States, need to provide Amazon, as a retail/distributor, with a CPC certificate.

1、 Basic requirements for Amazon station in the United States:

1. The CPC certificate must be based on the test results of the third-party testing laboratory recognized by CPSC;

2. The Seller issues the CPC certificate, and the third-party laboratory can provide assistance in drafting the CPC certificate;

3. Children's products must comply with all relevant safety rules and regulations;

2、 Information to be included in CPC certificate:

1. Product information (name and description);

2. All laws and regulations applicable to the product;

3. Manufacturer information: including name, address and telephone number;

4. The production date and address of the product, the production date must be to month and year, and the address must be to city;

5. Detection time and address

6. Information of the third party testing institution (laboratory recognized by CPSC): name, address and contact number;

3、 The CPC test items of children's clothing include:

1. Lead content detection: CPSC-CH-E1003-09 and cpsc-ch-e1002-08

2. Phthalate: cpsc-ch-e1001-09.3

3. Flammability regulations: 16cfr1610, 16cfr1611, etc.

4. Small parts: sharp point&edge test, 16cfr1501 and 16cfr1500, etc.

For the test report, the test report issued by a laboratory recognized by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission must confirm that each commodity has passed the test and conforms to the above regulations/standards, including the packaging, compliance marks, warning labels and age classification of the tested commodity (if applicable). The product image on the test report and the product image on the details page must show the same product.
