Common testing standards for CCC certification of infant and child fences in the United States
Common testing standards for toy CPC certification:
① CPSIA total lead and ortho benzene;
② American Toy Standard ASTM F963;
③ Safety Standard for Electric Toys 16 CFR Part 1505;
④ Ring toys require 16 CFR Part 1510;
⑤ Pacifier safety standard 16 CFR Part 1511;
⑥ Burning performance of children's clothing and carpets, such as 16 CFR Part 1610;
⑦ Preschool products: product standards for strollers, cribs, fences, braces, safety seats, bicycle helmets, etc.
It is understood that different categories require different audit documents, and it is best for sellers to communicate with suppliers first. The previously successful Amazon toy seller in the United States shared that the two documents he needs to submit are mainly for CPC and ASTM review.
Sellers selling children's products must demonstrate in their written Children's Product Certificate (CPC) that their children's products comply with applicable children's product safety regulations based on the test results of CPSC accredited laboratories. CPC is applicable to all products that primarily target children aged 12 and below. If produced locally in the United States, the manufacturer is responsible for providing, and if produced in other countries, the importer is responsible for providing.
The ASTM report is a standard for toy product safety in the United States and also a highly influential toy safety standard internationally. In international trade, toys that do not comply with ASTM reports cannot be sold in the US market.
