According to the parliamentary documents and information system, the German Bundesrat approved the third amendment to the Tobacco Products Act, which would prohibit flavoring and heating tobacco products.


The amendment includes adjusting EU rules to prohibit the use of spices and unique flavors in heated tobacco products; defining heated tobacco products and their classification as smoking or smokeless tobacco products; expanding labeling requirements in the form of text and image warning combinations and information messages; extending the ban on placing cigarettes and cigarettes; heating tobacco products with unique flavors on tobacco products; and the Tobacco Products Act Amendments to various parts ", according to the website of the Bundestag.
