The legislative body of Maine has proposed a bill to end the sale of flavored tobacco products across the state. in the U.S. When a bill is submitted, it is no longer a debate topic during the current term.
According to media reports, this has always been a hot topic in Maine, with some health advocacy groups claiming that flavored Vpa and other tobacco products are targeted at children, while many business owners say banning it would be a huge blow
The bill attempts to ban states already in Portland, South Portland, Brunswick, Bangor, and Barr Harbor
Last year, a similar effort across the state also failed because lawmakers adjourned without dealing with the bill.
This bill may be reconsidered next year.
