CPC Certification Testing Standard Requirements

SPSC has released a total of 38 standards, mainly involving the following testing contents:

① CPSIA total lead and ortho benzene;

② American Toy Standard ASTMF963;

③ Safety Standard for Electric Toys 16 CFR Part 1505;

④ Ring toys require 16 CFR Part 1510;

⑤ Pacifier safety standard 16 CFR Part 1511;

⑥ Burning performance of children's clothing and carpets, such as 16 CFR Part 1610;

⑦ Preschool products: product standards for strollers, cribs, fences, braces, safety seats, bicycle helmets, etc.


What is the scope of application of the CPC certificate?

Suitable for: Children's Products, Toys, and Childcare Articles.

Children's products: refer to consumer goods designed or intended for use by children aged 12 and under.

Children's toys: refer to consumer products specifically designed for children aged 12 and below to play with.

Children's care products: Refers to products for children aged 3 and under, intended to promote sleep or feeding, assist in sucking or growing teeth (such as dental rings and pacifiers).


Where can I apply for the CPC certificate?

The CPC certificate must be issued by a local manufacturer or importer in the United States, and the content of the certificate must be based on a qualified testing report issued by a laboratory recognized by CPSC.
